Data controller
The data controller is mybestgame.lol, operated as a personal project. Contact: privacy@mybestgame.lol.
Legal basis
We process data on the basis of legitimate interest (operating the leaderboard service) and, where applicable, your consent (providing a display name). Payment processing is necessary for contract performance.
Data processed
Display name (optional, user-provided), contribution amount, game selection, timestamps, and transient IP for rate limiting. We do not process sensitive/special category data.
Recipients
Polar.sh (payment processing), IGDB/Twitch (game data lookup), Cloudflare (Turnstile verification, hosting). No data is sold to third parties.
Your rights
Under GDPR (EU) and KVKK (Turkey), you have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. Submit requests to privacy@mybestgame.lol. We respond within 30 days.
Retention
Contribution data is retained for the operational life of the service. You may request deletion at any time.
International transfers
Data may be processed outside the EU/Turkey by our service providers (Polar.sh, Cloudflare). Appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses) apply.
Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (e.g., KVKK in Turkey, or your EU supervisory authority).
